I mean, I don't go especially out of my way or make special effort to see/talk to my parents bu that's because they don't live very far away and it's not any great effort to go and see them, and althoug I never phone up for a chat, I do often phone for sorting things out or advice.
And they got married 6 months after they first met (I don't think my mam was pregnant at the time..) nd my dad still says "she's not just my wife, she's my best friend" awww. With such a wonderful example of love, commitment and long term relationships, it makes you wonder how me and my brother hahve ended up being so spectacularly crap at maintaining relatiionships with women..
