Mars and Venus

We're both lying in bed with our laptops.

I'm excited because scientists have managed to create a logic gate out of 30 atoms.
Julie is excited because What Katie Did are having a sale on lingerie/corsets from the 5th.

I'm with Julie! I need to check out Lasenza sale, but may await a mail from a certain american who's addicted to their underwear and wants me to ferry a parcel across in February.

Work is quiet without you - No green lights on my instant contact list.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. I did not realize they had a sale.

OMG OMG OMG.

Mmmm What Katie Did is awesome! Please thank Julie for that information for me :D

Er... Science is good too of course. And nice to hear you two are all reunited now.

Yay! What Katie Did sale! Oh, and hurrah for science.

I'm sure the corsets are lovely but wow! 30 atoms?!?! That's very very impressive. If they can get the inter-molecular stuff working too there will be a huge leap in tech in the next 20 years or so.

Corsets!!! Women's breasts.... And you're excited about atoms??? I shall forthwith ensure I wear polo neck jumpers in all interactions with you and talk about atoms and programming and unix. WE'RE TALKING CORSETS!!!!!!

I spent three hours trawling round every gothy corset shop in Camden yesterday with Laura. I'm overdosed on corsets at the mo. I'm sure my appreciation of them will return shortly :)

I have to admit I'm a little shocked that you're not excited that there's a lingerie/corset sale too. Isnt' that the boyfriend's JOB???

[identity profile] bracknellexile.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 02:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd always appreciate a good corset and for a while did get a reputation as a decent corset lacer after doing [livejournal.com profile] dantesvendetta's and [livejournal.com profile] random_redhead's semi-regularly as well as others occasionally. But after shopping in Camden yesterday, I hit gothy corset and skirt overload.

And besides, that nanotech is just so damn cool :)

Damn, they gave me the wrong birth certificate.

I'm excited about both of those things. I wonder what that makes me? Pluto? (Not really a planet, dude.)

To be fair, I'm more excited about WKD...

IT ARE SO SHINY AND AWESOME AND AWESOME AND SHINY! Major problem I have noticed so far: it's a bit excessively locked down. It comes with FF2 and I am going to have to hack it to get it to upgrade to FF3.

stephen installed ubuntu on his.

and clearly the next logical step to the original conversation is a nano-scale corset.

Oh dear, clearly I need to get out the house more, because I find both topics very interesting.

Wheres this sale info? My girlfriend would like something no doubt.

Thanks, but, ummm, the headline date is:

December 12, 2007

Perhaps someone has gotten a bit over excited?
