I emailed this to a few people, and when it turned up on their journal it seemed popular, so the rest of you now get it too:
Two people raise a lion cub and then returned it to the wild. A year later they go to see it - and you can see the moment it recognises them.

topless old guy who makes a mysterious brief appearance is george adamson, joy "born free" adamsons husband. It was those two who persuaded these guys to release their harrods bought pet lion into the wild. Or so I gather from going through the 328 youtube comments.

You do realise that most of the lions and tigers in the world are owned privately, mainly in the USA? Not zoos or safari parks, just as pets.
