I emailed this to a few people, and when it turned up on their journal it seemed popular, so the rest of you now get it too:
Two people raise a lion cub and then returned it to the wild. A year later they go to see it - and you can see the moment it recognises them.

I do keep wondering if they were a gay couple in the 70s - "no you can't adopt a baby but hey, what about a lion? At least it's not handicapped " :-P
