Lesbians - better than straight men at spotting teh s3xy

Over here After Ellen compiles a list of the top 100 sexy women. And does a much better job than most at avoiding skinny 14-yar-old blondes. You've still got a fair number of the standards, of course, but you also have a fair sprinkling of the older and non-stick-like variety too.

It's nice to see Tina Fey on there.

Given the number of high-ranked entries who appear in The L-Word it looks to me as though there's still a preponderance of media-manufactured definitions of attractiveness. Just my cynical 2 cents...

Or possibly just a sign that the L Word was well cast with chicks who chicks dig? I fancied Jennifer Beals rotten when she had a tiny part in Four Rooms, long before she became a power suit wearing lesbo...

On a Bad Girls note, I can't believe Simone Lahbib made it onto the list and Mandana Jones didn't. Not that Simone isn't hot, but srsly.

And I can't believe Rachel Weisz is so low down, but at least she's on there...

Okay, I'm not going to post this one yet in case I think of more things to say...

Number 60 and no Jennifer Connelly yet?

...Number 76? Really? Next to Kelly Clarkson? Well, at least she's on there.

*shudders* @ Mis Kirshner. Poor man's Jennifer Connelly.

Yeah, it's refreshing to see so many older/normally shaped women, and the typical choices are there, but scattered all down the list - Kidman's at 95 or something. We rock!

Not one to protest the gross over-generalisation, but I would say that the list shows signs of better taste than the self-selecting group of men who both a)read FHM and b)bother to vote.

Just saying...
