Familliar patterns

This happens a lot. I slave away over stuff, get myself into an unhealthy pattern of not enough sleep and too much time thrashing about for things to make me happy (many of which seem to involve even less sleep) and then when I visit my parents I end up going to bed at 10pm and finding myself refreshed, with more perspective and generally happier. Also, my skin clears up.

Need to find some way of hanging onto this when I come back this time.

If i go to bed at ten on a work night, either I fall asleep after an hour or two then wake up about three hours earlier than is necessary, or I just lie awake for about five hours.

I always thought people were exaggerating or making it up when they talked about getting into bed and just falling asleep right away. Ah well.

That's kind of interesting because I'm exactly the opposite. When I'm at home/working I have a daily routine and usually stick to fairly healthy sleep patterns. When I go to visit my parents I end up staying up late watching TV/DVDs and then sleeping in really late and bumming around in my dressing gown. Regressing to teenaged sleep patterns I suppose. ;)

You need to work out what you're avoiding by going out every night.
