Due to Scotland's ridiculous propery system, it cost me £67k rather than £51k, but what can ya do?

I'll be moving in the few weeks following Christmas, so I should be installed by February, party to follow!

I've owned a flat for about 4 and a half years now. Sadly it's in Stirling and I no longer am.

It'll get sold in May and the profits will go back to my Dad for the loan he gave me for my deposit here.

The main reasons for buying are:
1) Mortgage payments are cheaper than rent
2) Mortgage payments don't go up every year, rent does
3) You can sell it 5 years later and make a profit!

I'm definitely more semi-adult than I was, but still not very.

If I could afford tickets I'd fly over, crash your party, invade your new flat and pass out on your couch (or your floor, or outside the front door, or preferably on a passing blonde, brunette or redhead... Providing Cat thought the girl was cute, too... You get the idea). Heh! Aren't you glad I can't make it? ;-)

Yeah, that Measure Five lowered property taxes, but the government got you guys back by purposely inflating the property value assessments. >_>
