It's all downhill from here

Last week we had the first assessment on the COBOL course. I scored 95% and vowed to improve in this mediocre score.

Sadly, this week we had the second test and I failed to improve. In fact, I went downhill.

I slid all the way down to 94%.

I'm not sure I'll ever recover.

Dammit, I'm over the hill already.

I'm disapointed...

What possition in the class? bottom I assume.

Ouch! 94%? In my high school, 95% was the lowest A, so the 94-95 break was a real killer. Still, if you score a 96 next time, it'll bring up your average...

I dread giving my boss a way to evaluate me numerically. I'd be obsessing over my scores for a year. Though he has offered me a board where I could get stars for good performance, like we had in kindergarten.

At least they don't post the scores in public. They don't, do they?

Cobol tests

Ah, I rememebr cobol....

actually I don't. I think I'd struggle to get 4% never mind 94 - and I used to do it for a living a mere 8 years ago.
