To someone who hates coke, but prefers diet if drinking it, it tastes like real coke - so I hate it. My other half who loves coke also loves coke zero.
It tastes more like diet coke then regular coke, to me.
However it lacks part of the aftertaste that diet coke has. Coca-cola has a really distinctive taste... Diet coca-cola tastes slightly more like pepsi. Coca-cola Zero tastes like diet coke, IMHO, but without the pepsi undertones.
Sugar makes you fat, increases your chances of getting diabetes and is generally over-added to things nowadays (added sugar is a fairly recent thing for most people's diets).
Some people don't like the taste of sweeteners (at least some sweeteners), but that varies too.
sorry, I was not really clear I guess. What I mean is that I do not see the correlation where no sugar = no downside.
I'm not saying sugar is great, but that the sweeteners they are using to replace it probably are not any better. Plus there are bound to be other things that are bad for you in the drink so removing the sugar hardly makes it some sort of ultimate drink with no downside.

Coke Zero tastes exactly like Coke Light, the existance of which I've never understood. It's icky.

Sugar
So there's no sugar, no downside?
Is it full of sweeteners and additives? Probably but dont worry, there's no sugar.
