Fed up

Off work yesterday and today. Feeling anxious about the work waiting for me, there's lots to do and the end is in sight on this project. I have a strong urge to get in there and get it done, but I know that I'd make a half-assed job of it at the moment, and would just spend even longer feeling like this.

I also want to keep myself vaguely together so I can climb onto a plane tonight to go visit my parents and brother (Mike) for his birthday this weekend. I may well spend 3 days slumped in Devon, but hopefully that'll be good for me anyway.

The company won't collapse without you. Everyone is entitled to be sick and stressing about it will only make you feel worse. You're the one who lectures me about doing too much and being busy - surely it's my turn to turn the tables? You don't get paid enough to take all this pressure, so chill, feel ill and approach next week feeling 100% better when your productivity will be up and you'll acheive somethig.
