Happiness

I have a computer, a cat, and a pound of strawberries that Ed left in the fridge.  I'm not sure life gets much better.

Yarr.....you've never had proper, locally milked cream - and my mothers' cookery :P.

Either that, or you're lactose intolerant......both are good :D.

I don't really like english- er, british - strawberries, as they're usually sour as hell, but yours are probably different :P.

Hehe, I'd love too, but I don't think she'd fit through the letterbox :(.

Now, when I get to go on a grand tour of universities in a few years' time, however......

Where exactly be that?

And, ahh, in my dream world, I have my eyes set on the physics-with-compsci course at Oxford :).

However, in reality, the OU is good.....

I kid :P. I'd love to go to the OU if I fail to get into anything else. It's the backup plan. But frankly, as I think the only way I'll get away from my mother without getting the courts involved. The father away the better :P. I'd really love to go to oxford in a few years - I'm just finishing year 11- but not cambridge, as it's soooo darned depressing. And you can only apply to one at any rate.

Besides, what's wrong with doing an interesting course or two with the OU *while* at oxford? :P.

Where did you go? I'd also love to go to all of the open days as well, just to see what I'm missing!

I'd love to study Japanese....but I couldn't really do any work with it :(. Besides, I dropped all languages in year 8....

I love being a geek, but I've no great desire to code professionally (quite the opposite). I like being a sysadmin, and I love graphic design, and physics.....so I *think* physics with comp sci is the best one for me.

'Specially if I can get an extension in law....

:D. I know. And I want to do it simply because of how much I love those places - quantum / optical computing is a pet love of mine, as well as fusion. I don't really want a career in academic sciences.....

.....I want one in politics. Either getting to sit on the green leather, or making it be stained with red. Both are good :P. Failing that, journalism is quite attractive (and I know lots of places already that would hire, so....)

I kind of think the phrase is "Jack of all trades..."
