I got 16 out of 20, much better than I thought. I got all the non-whites correct, I'm not sure if that means anything. I look at the eyes to see if it's a real smile. That first guy I missed I should've got if I was paying attention when the video ran.
I also got 16 out of 20. The trick did seem to be watching the eyes--the smile of the ones I pegged as fake either never reached the eyes or left them before the rest of the face returned to normal.
17 out of 20 The question at the end "which part of the face helped the most" I found misleading. The eyes helped but in general I went for speed of return to non-smile and the shoulder shake that shows they're laughing :)
I had a problem with the interface and actually missed the first smile altogether. I got it wrong and ended up with 17/20. The other two misses were ones I wasn't sure about.
Maybe I have learned something from working retail?
I got 17 out of 20. The 3 I missed were the ones about which I was most uncertain. (In at least one, the angle of the person's head throughout was rather... odd.)
