Was it something along the lines of DK2-as-satire, riffing pop superheros? Warren did write a review like that, but it was just on the WEF, so far as I recall. Knowing him, though, it's possible he re-published it somewhere.

I though that he might be right. I also though of all the other rich works I could enjoy, rather than slogging through Miller's sense of humor at cost. SIN CITY is a much better set of works, and DK2 felt like the Douglas Adams Syndrome ,by comparison.
