Twitter is a pain in the neck for long-form writing, and I wish that people used blogs/journals more!

(2) Sounds entirely, sadly, normal. And basically the kind of thing that (some) men do to establish dominance. "Look how we can easily make the lesser people feel uncomfortable." I'm glad that it's harder to get away with nowadays.
