If you look at September and last January, there doesn't seen to be much of a time lag between hospital admissions and intensive care admissions - they climb together. That doesn't seem to be happening to the same extent this time, which might be a good sign...

But the current level (today is 1,382) is higher than at any point other than the peak in January last year.
If it goes up by 50% again then we'll match that.
I really hope that doesn't happen.
