One thing I've noticed is that no one has any information on how disabled will be able to access single use straws. I can't get any more in shops at the moment. They are available online but at eight times their normal price! What are we supposed to do? As usual the Powers That Be don't think anything through properly when it comes to disabled peoples' lives.

Thanks for the information.

Almost everything you buy in a pharmacy is more expensive than if you bought it elsewhere. If you deal with pharmacies by phone and get prescriptions delivered will they be able to deliver straws? How does a disabled person prove their entitlement to single use straws? GPs generally charge £80 for that sort of letter and good luck to anyone with a crappy GP who doesn't believe anything you say. I'm fed up of this and exhausted from fighting for what I need to survive.
