Around the new WTC complex in NYC, the causes aren't nearly as mysterious. We can extrapolate to some extent for "glass tower"-style buildings of various purposes across the planet, as well as factoring in cats allowed to hunt freely.

And now this as well. We have a feeder and two bird baths here at our place. So this is another issue.
