I had a moment of knee-jerk revulsion that probably had as much to do with the before-and-after aspect of meat that we modern types don't get exposed to as the fact it was a pet. Then I applied a little reason. It reminded me of the various "primitive" cultures who, upon killing an animal, apologize to it and honor it before they dress out, cook, and eat it. If you ask me, factory farming is altogether sicker than this.

Notice that most of the non-anonymous responders appeared, judging by their speech patterns and user pics, to be teenage girls? I made this icon (well, I animated the picture and the caption is all) just for them!

Well, and I hope to get further use out of it.
