I wish I liked Maisie Williams more as an actor.

I quite liked her in Doctor Who.

Sadly I did not. That could be because I didn't much care for her character and it's difficult to judge the quality of acting on one character which you didn't much care for. Could be the writing, could be the directing, could be some choices that the actor made that didn't match my own tastes.

I wish I'd been delighted by her appearance in Doctor Who because she appears to be very, very popular with people who watch Game of Thrones and I feel that I might have missed something. It is always possible that the problem is me and them (see for example Stacey Dooley, but then, see also Stacey Dooley.)

Her performance as Ashildr was...interesting. I speak as one who's not part of GoT fandom, honestly. I was surprised to see her cast as Rahne "Wolfsbane" Sinclair in the Fox adaptation of the New Mutants series, and am disappointed that the Fox-Disney deal has ensured that this will be her one Marvel-inspired movie project.
