Somebody - possibly it was Hammond - pointed out that talk of deposing May is meaningless unless you answer two questions that are hard to answer:

1) Who would replace her? (No likely candidates seem to want the job.)

2) How would it make a difference? That is, what avenues would open that are currently being kept closed?

Presidents are a bad idea. Leaders should be elected by those who know them because they've been working with them every day. That's harder to stage manage than nation-wide voting for a leader. And the people should vote for parties in the hope of getting the policies they want, as apposed to a person they happen to like.
