Edinburgh streets
Problem is, this is the A8 at Haymarket. For some reason there were no buses shown in the artists impression, or taxis or trucks or cars. This is a road that carries over 50 buses and coaches an hour at peak times, a street with a taxi rank to provide for the railway station, shops on both sides of the road which need loading access for goods etc.
It's possible a lot of this traffic could be diverted through the residential areas to the north of Haymarket as they were during the endless roadworks for the tram project but I don't think that's really a goer.
