In French, I say 'It's Chinese to me'. Never heard of saying it's Hebrew!

I quite like Matt Blaze's take on this: he reckoned there's either a lot more to this, or a lot less.

Not only do we learn today what the Greeks say for "It's Greek to me," but we learn what the Turks call Turkish Delight. Thanks!

The phrase "You can't have your cake and eat it too" is really annoying. To have some cake means to eat it. What do you say when you're about to eat some cake? "Yes, I'll have some cake." Have. HAVE. It means to eat the cake, not to save it for later.

what point does Russia start to be considered a rogue nation?

When they don't have nukes any more?

It seems like the US, Russia and China all do a lot of very shady shit (and the uk does if it can), but it's hard to punish them. Iirc there were ALREADY sanctions against Russia, I can't even remember what for, just that trump was in favour of dropping them.

When they are no longer useful to the rich.

Define 'rogue nation'. Some may consider what Russian has done of late qualifies, while others are obviously willing to look the other way...

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/10/05/asia/india-s400-deal-intl/index.html

Putin makes calculated moves, and so far they haven't been wrong moves. China will buy from Russia, never mind India, so even the EU not buying their gas probably wouldn't do them much harm. And Putin knows the West will do all it can to avoid war with Russia.

Given that, the West's only real alternative is to support those within Russia who're fighting against Putin's gang. For all we know, Putin may already be losing control, and what's been bubbling to the surface of late may be a sign of that. Make your spies go on TV to claim they're not your spies? Really? And how will your other spies view that?

Russians are thoughtful people...
