It's the needing an such acronym so that there is absolutely no doubt about it that gives me pause. I suppose if you are that rich you can have any acronym you like, but: really?

"High Net Worth" is a term I bump into in the finance world all the time when talking about customers. Doesn't surprise me that there's a term for the high end of those. How else will you know who to sell yachts to?

That ad! It makes the girls I work with up on the hill sound thrifty. They buy Teslas rather than employing footmen for their personal houses. Although I suppose a Tesla costs about what a house does in some places.

Is the word "rich" considered vulgar? Why create an acronym when a perfectly good word already exists?
