30

In 5 months and 2 days I'll be 30 years old.

I'm still debating what to do. Part of me wants to make it something special - and therefore to either spend the day away by myself in contemplation, or to get completely out of it in some form or other.

But I'm currently mostly tempted to spend it (semi) quietly with my friends (if I can persuade them all to spend it in the same room as each other), and just relax and have a good time without doing anything in particular.

Watch dawn with the one you love

See a sunset alone and realise that some things don't change no matter how old you are

Read the book that means the most to you

Drink until you even forget who you are and nothing else matters because this only happens once

And it's just a day like any other and your age is just a piece of paper saying when you were born so damn it all to hell and live for today don't plan for tomorrow screw the lot of them and never fade away burn like a phoenix rising every second because no one else will do it for you.

Every last second counts. Live all of them like you're alive, the ones that matter anyhow.

You appear to have a mental defect or perhaps have made a hideous typo. You typed "sweet" when want you meant to say was "leet industrial cold arrogant and above all uncaring cyberboi child of the 80s with no feelings for anyone except a cat who'd kill you in a second if he but had a minigun to hand"

Umm, it was me who would kill you if I had a minigun... not the cat. Just thought that I ought to make that clear since punctuation appears to have become optional in my head.

When you say Blaine with a minigun.. I think of Blaine (James Spader) in Pretty in Pink. That's a whole new level in terror.
