Totally agree on the PowerPoint thing. I've had Sales Execs turn up to client site and say they have a few slides - not 'death by PowerPoint' - and proceed to present read a 100+ slide deck of extremely 'busy' content and run out of time for any kind of meaningful discussion.

I aim to have about 8 slides of content per hour (about 20 minutes of actual presentation - with 40 minutes for question, comment, discussion) with the slide content being as simple as practically possible.

I love the PowerPoint article. I think I reread it every 2 or 3 years. It's always on a different website, with different authors, different examples, etc, but it's been doing the rounds since I first learnt to use PP, that was in 1998...

(the depressing thing is that it keeps needing to be said, how stupid are people)
