How long would it take us to put people on the moon?
Question inspired by watching Doctor Who in bed this morning (It was ok - nothing special, which still makes it more enjoyable than many episodes of the previous few seasons. Episode one of the new season of Avatar was much better.).
Anyway - if there was suddenly something discovered on the Moon which we decided was really important to have a person take a close-up look at, how long would it take us to ramp the technology back up to get someone there and back again in one piece?
Anyone want to make a stab at it?
