I hadn't realised how dull the soundtrack to the Nolan Batman movies was before

Seriously. You hear the 60's music and it's instantly recognisable and anyone can sing along to it. The Burton/Elfman music is instantly recognisable, haunting, and has now stuck with me for 25 years. The Nolan music? I heard it less than 30 seconds ago, and not only can I not remember what it sounded like, you could play it to me again and I probably wouldn't be able to pick it out from a bunch of other modern music scores.
