Marvel Thoughts (spoiler for Winter Soldier post-credits and most recent X-Men:DOFP trailer)

So, there's a new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past:

and...it has Quicksilver in it.

And the Captain America post-credit sequence had...Quicksilver in it.

But they are not being played by the same actor.

Presumably, because Fox owns the rights to X-Men and everything else mutant-related from Marvel. But Marvel owns everything Avengers-related. And both of those things include Quicksilver.

I know that these are two different continuities, but really, this is just getting silly...

Yup. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch can be in MCU films so long as no-one mentions they are mutants or related to Magneto. They can be in X-Men films so long as no-one mentions they are Avengers.

I blame the lawyers.
