It still boggles me slightly than on a budget of "very little" you can make movies with special effects that would have been utterly impossible twenty years ago. That probably means I'm officially old :->

Terrible movies can be a lot of fun; some have achieved cult status simply for being awful. A few years ago, a movie called The Room had weekly screenings at a theater a few blocks from my house. I was mildly interested in seeing it, but never did. (Clearly I still can, and can even get some killer merch if I want.)
