Jesus fucking Christ, Facebook. They're doing everything they can to stop me using the wretched site, aren't they? Bad enough that now when you message someone you get a little 'seen' notice when they've read it, so now you can *know* when people are ignoring you rather than thinking it. Alright, I'm veering into hyperbole there, but there are times I'll read a message and realise I have to think a bit and respond later - but I can't do that now because it'll look like I'm ignoring the message. Stupid Facebook.

was just about to say - I hate hate hate that. I wish there was something that would break Facebook's monopoly, I have so many friends (from school, work, previous employers or just plain non-technically minded) who's only internet presence is Facebook, and the only way I seem to have to stay in touch with them.
