Yeah, I got bored of voyager, but there were a few things I definitely liked and one of them was that Janeway had a long term partner she was loyal to but didn't angst all the time: it seemed a very adult sexual role compared to the rest of the startrek captains. (OK Sisko had a son, but his wife wasn't there.)
OTOH, to be fair to Hermione and Leia (despite some of Leia's outfits), I don't think they were primarily motivated by love as much as by loyalty. I think both would have done all the same awesome things if they didn't have a romantic attachment.
It pains me that there's a generation out there that will never understand how awful Twilight is. Or the damage it's doing to their concepts of love and independence.
