More seriously, philmophlegm's saying that they don't see any evidence of racism in front of them. If they opened up the article long enough to read the Guardian byline--thereby providing a context for the term which caused them to assume it referred to the UK/USA--and then the only thing they saw was gwendally's two comments, I could see how they both failed to perceive racism in her comments and didn't see enough to bother to call her on the creative rewording WRT "climate scepticism"/"scepticism".
