its nice to see the 'speed of light is a going concern' thing in print, my 'well educated' friends laughed me out of the room when i said as such about our inter-site links.

Yeah, it should be obvious to anyone that works with computers that the speed of light is of massive concern in chip design, motherboard design, networking, etc.
