Poll de Nathan

Nathan asked me a whole bunch of disconnected questions (due to boredom, I suspect) and I liked them enough to convert them into a poll....

[Poll #125324]

wasn't realy meant as a depressing set of questions.. more sort of, well, duno, questoning, probing... never thought someone like Andy would have prefered typing stuff over talking... informative... interesting results some of them, already... see what they are like with a few 100 more people answearing them...

Unfair! I'd rather lose both legs than my sight or my hearing.

A.

AAHHHH!

hi, you don't know me; i'm britta and i took your poll completely randomly.
and i just wanted to say that i clicked the "16 year old" button completely accidentally, and MEANT to click "50 year old," because i am 24 and having sex with a 16 year old would be statuatory rape and i am SO against that, and am rather mortified that i clicked that button.
yeah. that's all.

Only in your state/country. In the UK, 16 is the legal age of consent. Whether or not that's an appropriate age is another discussion.

bad experience

God, that last question was nasty – limb or memory, maybe I answered wrong..

However, having recently (I mean within last 4 years) sampled both; when it comes to the sex with 16 yr old or 50 yr old, there’s just no question: 16.

Most people would rather have sex with a 16 year old.
Which means they would have sex with me aswell, heh.
Score.
:P

I'd like to note that I'm already partially deaf, and I go into an amazing panic whenever I go deaf (from pressure changes or flying on airplanes, for instance). I always make sure to buy some chewing gum before I take a flight.

Y'know, I think the most interesting result of this is that people would rather spend a month without sex than the internet. IMHO, that's quite sad. What does it say about the 'net generation? I mean, I love the 'net, but it's just a tool for communication and storing/delivering info. Would I rather not have it? No, don't be silly. Could I miss it for a month and be fine? Absolutely. The same could be said about sex, of course, but physical, intimate contact with someone would always be more important to me. I can't imagine the 'net being such a part of my life that I'd rather have it than sex - but I'm glad it isn't.

I don’t think the net is more important to anyone than sex. That would put him or her into a classification of loser I was unaware existed. However, I answered that I would rather go a month without sex than the Internet because being a single guy I already commonly do.

Reasonable point - I guess it's how you read the question. Still rather does imply that you are given the choice. You don't choose the 'net over sex, you're kinda stuck with it. And that sounds really horrible, but you know what I mean....

LOL. Yeah, if I could chose unrealistically well, there would be no contest.
