I just posted a poll over on LJ.

I didn't post it here, because I regularly get over a hundred votes in polls on LJ, and I doubt that I have that many people over here that would vote on it.

However - to test this theory:

If only polls worked in both places - but I can't think of a simple method of doing that.

For reference, I voted for what my first working day would have been had I not been off sick.

And if you post a poll on here you get a link in your LJ crosspost, but LJ users are so lazy and insular that they won't go to another site for ANYTHIIIIIING

And yeah, I don't use Cuts for the same reason - people can't be arsed clicking through to something. Me included. I assume that if someone put something behind a cut then it wasn't that important.

I only use cuts for spoilers.

I've started reading cuts more on Dreamwidth now that you can open them up on the page. Before then it was rare that I'd look behind a cut unless it was something I knew I'd be particularly interested in.
