I'm afraid that any vague agreement with the grammar chap died when I got to "Apparently someone killed his cat while saying “irregardless” alot" and really couldn't convince myself that it was ironic....

i'm guessing an irregardless alot is one that's both blind and deaf? :)

i really don't understand how even former english teachers i know use irregardless, when it's so easy to find arguments against it.
