I wondered whether the ridiculous amount of hype surrounding the whole thing had been going on for so long that I thought a film that was still in pre-production had already been and gone in the cinemas. Clearly what I saw pass me by was the Swedish version.

Naah, the hype is still all about the books (number 1,2 and 3 on Amazon UK, and all in the top 6 of Amazon US).

The hype about the movies isn't due to peak until the first of the US remakes comes out in December 2011 :->

Oooh, just looked at the cast. Stellan Skarsgård is pretty much perfect. Not so convinced by Daniel Craig though.
