The problem with finding that funny? It involves listening to David Mitchell.

I did mange it, and you're right, it was funny. It would've been better without Mitchell.

I suspect I'd dislike him less if he wasn't everywhere at the moment.

I like David Mitchell lots. Never really watched the show, and he's not the best presenter in the world when you give him his own show, but I really like him on The News Quiz and other Radio 4 whatsits. What don't you like about him?

First became aware of him through R4 stuff, but it got to the point where he was on everything new they tried (or it seemed like it). I don't like his presentation style.

I'm pretty sure if he was just another person on their shows, I'd not mind him much, because he's OK in a mix, but because they seem to be putting him front and centre on so many things, I got very fed up with him.

I think it's the general smug approach he takes, for some reason Fry doesn't annoy me, but he does. Can't actually explain it to be honest.

Interesting. I always get a vibe of endearing vulnerability rather than smugness off him.
