Thinking 'bout the future

This is from a discussion with Erin (I've taken to making copies when I accidentally say something worth noting)

Clarifying things about the way I think - I don't really care about the past very much. People do things and say things and events happen, and some I enjoy and some I don't. But it's making sure that things are fun and groovy from this point forward that really matters to me.

So if there were problems in the past, sure I want to learn from them, but I don't believe in holding onto them and turning them over and over and holding them against people unless they are going to help me have a better time from here onwards.

This may explain some of my strange and wacky attitudes towards arguments, relationships and general coping strategies.

i have ceased to be amazed at how, over time, you can find at least one person on the net that agrees with you on almost any subject. considering i have spent the majority of my life being described as weird and variations on the same theme. not sure if this "new found" capability is a good or bad thing.

i think this thing we do with the past is very annoying for other people, especially the score keepers.

once you think about it though it is the only way to really be, for now, i think.

fun and groovy, i like that , i like that a lot.
