You must share in my pain

I promised [livejournal.com profile] likeneontubing that I'd share this if she posted it.

I still can't work out how much of a parody it is. I _did_ manage to guess that the singer had a beardless moustache just from hearing the track on Kate's phone...

No, you ddn't link directly. You embedded. To link directly you put a link in, like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbYtqAWDF2U

There, see? Now it's loaded on your page, I can find where it is on YouTube ;-)

Important these days for people using mobile browsers that have a youtube app but can't watch vids in browser (like anyone using Opera Mobile/Mine)

Not trying to have a go, a bit cranky today (today? this last week it seems), but, y'know, point is sound, links are good ;-)

Ah, see, others do; giving people choices is good, especially when relying on the flakiness of LJ embedding.

Also? You have an Android, Android has a good built in setup. I have a Nokia 5800 running S60, which is passable, but the browser's a bit sucky, so I use Opera, which is better for everything except Flash.

Pity the poor iPhoners...

(Next upgrade is in 15 months, at which point an Android will be a good, affordable choice, the 5800 was the best choice on my dirt cheap contract in Feb).

Why? We have a separate app specially for YouTube should we need it, and don't get the bug that is Flash serving up annoying ads, tracking us and generally slowing everything to a crawl when we're browsing the web.

Ah, see, on the laptop I have never let flash run on its own, and on my mobile I use Opera which doesn't allow it.

For some reason I thought iPhones didn't run Flash at all, is that just the iPad? Meh, I care not, overpriced hypy thing that's only barely better than my 5800 ;-)
