Merry Christmas

It now having hit midnight in the One True Timezone, I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas.

May those off you who do celebrate it spend a lovely day with your chosen family, and those of you who don't spend it insulated from all the buggers who won't shut up about it.

Improving Christmas: Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

#1 Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.

#2 All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.

#3 Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

#4 Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
you'll go down in history!

#5 (to tune of #3) But Rudolph didn't understand
He couldn't quite see how
If they weren't his friends yesterday
They suddenly liked him now

#6 (to tune of #1) Rudolph he made some new friends
And they played some brand new games
and all those shallow bullies
Learnt to not call people names
Learnt to not call people names!

I'm going to have to buy myself a Christmas present

Having just sat on my laptop screen and shattered it.

I feel like such an idiot.

I suspect that replacing the screen would be more than £150, and I'd be spending £350 on a new laptop, so it's new laptop time.

(Also, there goes most of my internet access until the 27th.)
