Boxing Day Deer

Woke up to an Alsatian who wanted his tummy rubbed and this view from my window:


(If you look in the centre of the picture, there's a herd of deer at the bottom of the field. One of those times I wish that phone cameras had a physical zoom.)

The view out the window is wet and full of wildlife

The male pheasant came for a look around this end of the patio:


Uther decided to reclaim it (taking Pooh along for company). Tara wisely stays inside in the dry.


If you click on the second one then you'll get a larger version, and will be able to see the bird feeder against the wall (which is between the two bits of garden), and the pheasant is over sitting under that, waiting for the smaller birds to knock seeds out onto the floor.

I will, of course, eventually get bored of posting these photos. Whether that happens before I leave for Scotland is another matter :->
