Advertising Fail

Seen while out for a walk today with Hugh and Noah - he dropped round to see the flat and then I showed him where Lochend Park is. The lake was half frozen over - thanks to the wonders of central heating I hadn't actually realised it was cold outside last night.

Today has largely been spent moving things around the flat and feeling tired. I seem to have been in a daze all weekend, and I'm not sure why - possibly just recovering from the last few months. In any case, I'm hoping I feel recovered for work tomorrow, when I'm in early to get started on penetration testing. Which is less fun that it might sound.

Nice evening

meaningrequired and I met up with frankie_ecap and rhythmaning as part of their weekend trip to Edinburgh. I'd never met either of them before, although I've had frankie_ecap on my FL for a year now, and rhythmaning since 2008. It was lovely, as they're both nice, smart people who clearly think about things a lot, aren't interested in drama, and we just enjoyed sitting in The Shore having a drink and chatting about, well, everything. It's nice to meet new people, even if they do live at the wrong end of the wrong country (in London).
