Really, I love my friends

One of the social cues kids on the autism spectrum tend to lack is the ability to tell when their input is not necessary and/or desired. Imagine a gregarious six-year-old, unable to understand the conversation going on but bound and determined to participate in it anyway, and you've got the picture.

Don't know lots of people like that. Nope, not at all :->

Over here you can read the rest - where [livejournal.com profile] ladysisyphus occasionally writes fascinating entries on what it's like working with autistic kids.

Fun with Facebook

I've created a new group, for the purposes of sarcasm. Feel free to join in the fun.
