One good turn deserves another

Following [livejournal.com profile] dtaylor's posting of a chunk of "BlackAdder: Back and Forth" there was a comment saying "It's a TARDIS!" which reminded me that people don't realise how much Doctor Who related humour there was in the past. Particularly the Comic Relief Special "Doctor Who and the Curse of Fatal Death", written by Steven Moffat (writer of The Empty Child/Doctor Dances and Girl in the Fireplace).

So I tracked it down on YouTube for your delight. It's in two parts, each ten minutes long, and well worth a watch...

Thrice bedamned finances

A while back I had a leak in my kitchen. Water went through into my downstairs neighbours flat. They have presented me with a bill for repairs of £150. I've spoken to my insurers who said "You have no legal liability for their flat, they should claim from their insurers, it's nothing to do with us at all." The downstairs neighbours have no insurance, being unemployed types. Which leaves me having caused (accidental) damage to someone's flat, unable to claim insurance for it, and honour bound to pay for the repairs (even if not even slighltly legally so)

Anyone care to offer any useful advice here?

How I spent my weekend by Andrew Ducker age 34 and a half.

Mostly shooting people in the face. But sometimes in the back.
