If you're planning on flying to the USA, have heard rumours of strange "security" practices being put in place since the attempt a few days ago, and are wondering what the _actual_ rules are, then read this, which is the actual memo sent out by the TSA.

Wow. Apart from the obvious direct interference measures, I have to pee every hour. I wonder if a federal marshall would shoot someone for going to the lav or pulling out a Sheewee...
One would hope that any restrictions would be made clear to customers before booking.

Dammit! They've blocked GPS and stopped all positional announcements, but those sneaky terrorists might use the new web 2.0 technologies to upskill their individual visual location awareness systems! (I.e. They might look up landmarks on Google Earth.)

We will not be safe until all airline windows are blacked out entirely! And passengers blindfold too for good measure. And wearing secure-issued orange jumpsuits. And perhpas bound and hooded too just to be sure.

Anything less and Osama will have won!
