That Greenwich article, and the idea of standing with one foot in the east and one in the west (which I remember doing as a kid on my first visit to London) reminds me of one of my favourite pub trivia questions: Without looking at a map, which two of the UK's four capital cities lie almost exactly north-south of each other?
