Wiiii Fitness

Alison Scott has a blog entry here on Wii Fitness - if you're the kind of person that wants to be fitter, but would like to find a _fun_ way of doing it, I recommend taking a look.

I also recommend taking a look at the before/after shots here, showing the end results of 7 weeks of Wii workout. (It was on [livejournal.com profile] andyduckerlinks before, but I figure it's worth reposting the occasional thing.)

I hurt all over!!! Have done 2 days of 30 minutes exercise on wii fit. I'm going to see what happens in a month - if I lose interest or maintain the regime. I'm kind of addicted to Hule Hooping and downhill skiing - my thighs hurt like hell!!! Have to say that yoga has not inspired me or caught my fanyc - probably because I have a cack sense of balance. Interestingly it calculates your wii fit age prior to strating an dit calculated mine at 40 which I was greatly impressed by - I have no idea what it uses to calculate this but I had expected it to work out a good 10 to 15 years more than my actual age.

It did me at 50 yesterday and 26 today, so I think I can safely say that the Wii Fit age has some kinks to work out.

My calves ache; I particularly like slalom, Step Plus, and rhythm boxing.

rhythm boxing? I haven't unlocked that one yet. But I do like the step ones, I have realised I have no sense of rhythm doing some of the stuff on Wii Fit.
