Drinking last night with [livejournal.com profile] andabusers, [livejournal.com profile] chuma, [livejournal.com profile] celiaka, [livejournal.com profile] figg, [livejournal.com profile] vlen and other people whose LJ names I know not what of. Ran away from that at half midnight so I could get up at 8am and go to Uphall, where I won one game of Axis and Allies decisively (it turns out that Hitler could have won WWII easily if he'd not engaged in a war on three fronts at once), forced another one to a draw (huzzah for the industrial might of the USA), and then took a game of Dune to the point where people agreed my team was going to win (The Guild of Space Navigators and Spice Sniffers pwns your sorry ass. That'll be one large lump of melange, two lumps if you want a return ticket.) Got a train back 20 minutes ago, then a taxi home and am now getting changed to head out to dancing at Slashdot, which I haven't been to before, but will hopefully be a laugh.

Tomorrow, a long lie in. And then maybe a slow walk while my brain/body recovers.

The solution would seem to be that if you're going to go clubbing, ensure you're not tired.

There are a variety of solutions to this, some legal...some not.

If the club was -good- you'd probably have fun, even if tired. If, of course, you go somewhere that's only okay, then being tired would make it suck.
