That was a nice post, and provides a nice antidote to why solar panels and wind farms can't produce all our power needs. You won't find the environmental lobby talking about base load for this very reason.
I'd be interested in seeing some figures comparing the cost per megawatt over the lifetime of a nuclear power plant and a tidal generator.
